This quarter we focused on improving the efficiency of map management for our customers and enabling some familiar elements for users exploring maps powered by Mappedin. We’ve continued to add more venues to our portfolio and are preparing for MAPIC, the international event for key players in retail real estate to build incredible lifestyle and shopping destinations.
This newsletter is meant to keep you updated on what we’ve been up to. As always, we welcome any feedback that could further improve your reading experience.

What's new?
NEW Real-Time Web Positioning - Users can now experience the familiar feel of turn-by-turn directions in the browser on their mobile phones through our collaboration with Apple. Real-time positioning makes wayfinding easy by knowing a user’s starting location and automatically updating their position as they move through the venue and between floors. Contact your Account Executive for more details.
Smart Labels - A more dynamic way to show location labels, Smart Labels automatically display and hide location names based on popularity, square footage, and collision with other labels.
New Multi-Floor Prompt - Users travelling between floors will now see an interactive pop-up to notify them that they are required to change levels before arriving at their destination. This pop-up clearly shows whether the user will need to take stairs, an escalator, or elevator and avoids overlapping with critical components of the map, such as the path or destination markers.
NEW Interactive Leasing Map - Mappedin customers can now integrate their existing 3D maps into the leasing page of their website. Using the same up-to-date location data that powers their shopper facing experiences, customers can enable leasing agents and potential retailers to explore their venues across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices. Venues can also customize the type of data that displays as well as the filters that users can search by.
Not currently using Mappedin to power your venue maps? We’re excited to work with new spaces and industries as we continue to expand our leasing offering.
What's new?
Customizable Search Bar Text - To allow for search flexibility, both the placeholder text within the search bar and the text on the search button are now customizable.
Smart Labels - A consistent experience with the new Smart Label release for web, the dynamic location labels change and move as users navigate the map.
What's new?
Adjustable Path Sizing - Venues using our Web SDK now have the ability to adjust the width of the path that displays on the map, in turn improving map readability and making navigation easier for users.
What's new?
Default Map Styles - Mappedin customers now have the ability to create and apply one map style for all maps under an organization. This saves time, creates consistency across venues, and as the maps are maintained, the same styling applies to all new structures.
Infill Styling - Infill creates a clear division between each location polygon on the map, making locations easier to distinguish for users. Previously, individual geometries were used to create this aesthetic. The new update allows users to style the look and feel of the infill in one place for an entire organization.
Over the past three months, we’ve continued to focus on expanding our international presence and have implemented maps and wayfinding at the following great locations:

Mappedin now powers the wayfinding directory experience at Fashion District Philadelphia, an impressive retail offering that spans three city blocks in the city centre.
